Pause Studios began with a simple idea: turn fleeting moments into memories that last. The smiles, the sparks, the details most people miss — every pause in time has the power to tell a story.
The name says it all. A photo is more than an image — it’s a pause: a laugh, a glance, the energy of a performance, the quiet in the middle of chaos. Those pauses become stories that can be felt again, or for the first time by those who weren’t there.
Pause Studios isn’t about flash or fame. It’s about creating work that feels real and alive — images that bring people back to the moment, no matter where they are. Based in Canada and working across North America, the goal is simple: capture moments that matter, and make sure they last.
About the Photographer
I’m Brian Mullin, the photographer behind Pause Studios. Photography became a way for me to hold onto the moments that matter — the smiles, the sparks, the small details that might otherwise slip away. Over time, it grew into a passion for capturing events of every kind, with the same goal at heart: pausing real stories so they can be felt and remembered long after the moment has passed.
