Documentary and editorial work across northern Mexico — a desert city, colonial streets, and everyday life, unposed. The same candid instinct, one border south. Chihuahua, Mexico · 2022.

The work
Chihuahua is the other Mexico — high desert, colonial stone, a working city that runs on its own rhythm. This is documentary work: hands restoring a cathedral facade, a skater catching a ledge in the half-second it exists, a city spread out to the mountains under a hard sky. Nobody posed for any of it.
That's the point. The same anticipation instinct behind every event — read the moment before it happens — is what carries a shoot across a border and a language. Triple US/Canada/Mexico citizenship and bilingual English/Spanish mean the coverage comes from inside the place, not from a tourist passing through.
The frames
The outcome
Documentary is the purest proof that the eye travels. No client, no staging, no reset — just a real place and the discipline to read it. Frames that hold up here are the clearest evidence of what a destination brand, editor, or organizer is hiring for: the ability to land in an unfamiliar room and leave with images worth keeping.
It's the same reflex behind a gala, a rodeo, or a convention — moved to a desert city that owes you nothing. The moment is temporary. The imagery isn't.
